In 2014 Underworld co-creator Stuart Beattie will write and direct the feature film based on the unpublished Darkstorm Studios graphic novel, 'I, Frankenstein' by Kevin Grevioux. In a dystopic world 200 years after the shocking creation of Dr Frankenstein's creature Adam, (who has taken his creators surname) a war over the fate of humanity between the guardian gargoyles and the destructive demons ensues; with Adam's immortality being the key that could save or destroy mankind.
As a sequel of sorts to the Mary Shelley story, some fans are worried that Eckhart's portrayal of the famous monster as a scarred, clean cut and chiselled fighting machine instead of a disproportionate lumbering nightmare will fall short.
